Lillian Web Park
A formal water park at the north end of downtown — a stepped cascade falling to a plaza fountain, with a gazebo lawn above it.
Lillian Web Park is the most deliberately designed public space in Notcross, and the only one that was built more or less as drawn. A stepped stone cascade descends three terraces to a plaza at the bottom, where an interactive fountain runs from April to October and is, on any hot Saturday, the loudest place in the city.
Above the cascade, a gazebo lawn hosts small ceremonies and the occasional string quartet. The pergolas along both sides were planted in 2013 and have taken.
The park is named for a former mayor. The City has been asked several times to correct the spelling on the entrance monument and has declined, on the grounds that the stone is original.
