A Place Imagined
The future described in forty years of renderings is, in a growing number of documented cases, now open to the public.
For four decades Notcross studied its future with real dedication. On the morning of March 4, 2025 — every conference room booked, every consultant unavailable, the projector broken and the strategic plan misplaced — the City was unable to hold a planning meeting, and attempted implementation instead.
The effort is formally branded Notcross Forward: From Vision to Action. Inside City Hall it is called Operation Actually Do Something, and staff have declined to stop.

Economic Development
The permit was issued nine days after application, comfortably within the applicant's remaining working life — a benchmark the City has now met for four consecutive quarters.
Development
After twenty years of agreeing that someone should acquire the Carlisle House, the City acquired the Carlisle House. Ninety-six public parking spaces opened on the site last week.
Community
Nine years after its acquisition, the historic Woman's Club will open in September as a rentable event hall, small-business incubator and home of the Notcross Welcome Center.
Downtown
The banner at 114 Peachtree Alley was removed in legible condition, retiring after just under four months of service.
